SEO Executive / SEO Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven SEO Executive / SEO Specialist to join our team in Dehradun. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SEO and a strong understanding of modern search, including AEO, GEO and AI-powered search optimization.

You will be responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring and improving SEO strategies across multiple client websites and helping increase organic visibility, qualified traffic and leads.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research, search intent analysis and keyword mapping.
• Plan and implement on-page, technical and off-page SEO strategies.
• Optimize website content, titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs and internal linking.
• Perform technical SEO audits and identify issues affecting crawling, indexing, Core Web Vitals and website performance.
• Work on Local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization.
• Monitor website performance using Google Search Console and Google Analytics (GA4).
• Conduct competitor, SERP and content gap analysis.
• Build topical authority through content clusters and semantic SEO strategies.
• Implement and optimize structured data / schema markup.
• Develop SEO content briefs and collaborate with content writers and content teams.
• Understand and apply AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) principles for answer-focused search visibility.
• Understand and apply GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and optimization for AI-powered search experiences.
• Stay updated with Google search algorithm updates, AI search developments and changing SEO best practices.
• Use AI tools responsibly for SEO research, content briefs, analysis and workflow automation while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Track rankings, organic traffic, conversions and other SEO KPIs.
• Prepare regular SEO reports and provide actionable recommendations.

Required Skills

• 1-3 years of hands-on SEO experience.
• Strong understanding of On-Page, Technical, Off-Page and Local SEO.
• Good knowledge of keyword research and search intent.
• Experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics/GA4.
• Understanding of Google Business Profile and Local SEO.
• Knowledge of technical SEO, website audits and basic HTML.
• Understanding of structured data/schema markup.
• Knowledge of Semantic SEO and Topical Authority.
• Working knowledge of AEO, GEO and AI Search Optimization.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client projects and meet deadlines.

Good to Have

• Experience with tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog or similar SEO tools.
• Basic understanding of WordPress.
• Experience working with digital marketing agencies.
• Knowledge of Looker Studio or SEO reporting tools.
• Comfortable working with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or similar tools.
