Role Description The SEO Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This position is responsible for planning and executing SEO strategies to improve organic visibility and drive qualified traffic for healthcare and life sciences clients. Day-to-day tasks include conducting SEO audits, performing keyword research, analyzing web analytics data, and implementing on-page and off-page optimization initiatives. The role also involves coordinating link-building activities, collaborating with content and marketing teams, and preparing performance reports with actionable recommendations. The SEO Assistant Manager will continuously monitor industry trends and search engine algorithm updates to refine and strengthen SEO practices.
Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in SEO audits and on-page optimization, with the ability to identify technical and content-related issues.
• Hands-on experience in keyword research and search intent analysis using leading SEO tools.
• Demonstrated capability in link building and off-page SEO, including outreach and backlink quality assessment.
• Practical knowledge of web analytics and reporting, leveraging tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and similar platforms.
• Understanding of digital marketing and marketing fundamentals, especially within service-based or B2B environments.
• Familiarity with healthcare or life sciences domains is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, information technology, or a related field preferred.
• Experience of 3–5 years in SEO or digital marketing roles, with at least some responsibility at an assistant manager or equivalent level.
