SEO & AI Search Analyst, D&T, Digt. Mktg

Work Location Logistics: This is a hybrid position requiring the team member to be onsite for 3 days per week.

Job Summary

The SEO AI Search Analyst will help improve West s visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI search platforms. The role will focus on strengthening organic search performance, optimizing website content, identifying new search opportunities, and helping ensure West s content can be easily found and understood across Google, Bing, ChatGPT, Gemini, and other AI-powered search experiences.

This person will work closely with Digital Marketing, Content, Communications, and web teams to turn search data and customer behavior into practical recommendations that improve visibility, website traffic, engagement, and business outcomes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Support and execute West s SEO and AI Search strategy across key products, solutions, and content areas.
• Conduct keyword, search intent, competitor, and content research to identify opportunities to improve organic visibility.
• Optimize product pages, solution pages, blogs, Knowledge Center content, and other website pages for search.
• Review and improve page titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, content structure, anchor text, and other on-page SEO elements.
• Help optimize content for emerging AI search experiences, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI experiences, and other platforms.
• Identify opportunities to improve content structure, FAQs, supporting information, internal linking, and structured data to make content easier for both search engines and AI platforms to understand.
• Monitor how West, its products, and key topics appear across traditional and AI search results and recommend areas for improvement.
• Conduct regular technical SEO reviews and work with web and technology teams to address issues related to crawling, indexing, site performance, redirects, Core Web Vitals, and other technical areas.
• Use tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and SEMrush to track performance and identify trends and opportunities.
• Monitor organic traffic, rankings, impressions, clicks, AI Search traffic, conversions, and other key performance metrics.
• Track competitor search performance and identify content or topic areas where West can strengthen its visibility.
• Work with content teams and subject matter experts to provide SEO recommendations and help develop content based on what customers are searching for.
• Review existing website content and recommend where pages should be updated, expanded, consolidated, or better connected through internal links.
• Stay current on changes in search engines, AI Search, algorithms, and search behavior, and assess what those changes mean for West.
• Support regular reporting and clearly communicate search performance, key findings, and recommended next steps.
• Help connect SEO and AI Search activities to broader digital marketing goals, including website engagement, lead generation, and business growth.

Education

• Bachelor s Degree in Marketing / Digital Marketing required; or
• Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration / Commerce required; or
• Bachelor s Degree in Communications / Mass Communication required; or
• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology required

Work Experience

• Minimum 3 yea-5 years experience in SEO, digital marketing, search marketing, or a related field required.
• Experience with SEO tools, web analytics, keyword research, content optimization, and technical SEO preferred.
• Exposure to AI Search, GEO/AEO, or generative AI tools is preferred.

12:00 PM IST to 9:00 PM IST

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, including keyword research, on-page SEO, technical SEO, internal linking, and content optimization.
• Familiarity with AI Search, GEO/AEO, and generative AI platforms and an interest in how search is evolving.
• Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, SEMrush, or similar platforms.
• Ability to analyze search and website data and turn findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Good understanding of search intent, customer behavior, and content performance.
• Basic knowledge of structured data/schema, Core Web Vitals, crawling, and indexing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work with content, digital marketing, web, and cross-functional teams.
• Curious and willing to test, learn, and adapt as search and AI technologies continue to evolve.

Travel Requirements

• 10%: Up to 26 business days per year
