Seniors/ Supervisors - Audit & Assurance Services

Job Function:

To perform the role of Senior Auditor or Supervisor in charge in Audit & Assurance Service line of the firm and perform statutory audits as per BDO Global Audit Methodology and International Standard of Auditing for reporting to the Audit Managers and Partners.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with senior team members of the engagement team for engagement planning, covering risk assessments, evaluating internal controls, designing audit procedures and completing other planning considerations and documentations.
• Performing audit fieldwork and supporting engagement managers.
• Identify, evaluate and resolve audit issues and matters with engagement managers and partners.
• Preparation of statutory financial statements under IFRS and reporting regime.
• Providing ongoing support, assistance and guidance to professional team.
• Effectively utilise automated BDO Global audit tools and other firm technologies to perform and document work.
• Undertaking ad-hoc and other duties as required from time to time.

Qualification & Experience

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• Competing or pursuing Chartered Accountant or similar professional qualification with a recognized local or international professional body.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance or Commerce from a recognized University is also preferred.
• Minimum 4-6 years of audit experience in an International Accounting Firm.
• Well versed with International Financial Reporting Standards, International Standards on Auditing and Automated Audit Software and Tools.
• Ability to work independently, communicate effectively and possess strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong IT and digital skills, including a good working knowledge of MS Teams, Office applications and cloud accounting platforms.
