Senior Videographer & Photographer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and creatively driven Senior Videographer & Photographer to lead photography and videography across Madtowns diverse client projects. The role involves planning and executing shoots end-to-end, managing equipment and production logistics, and coordinating with internal teams, interns and freelancers. The ideal candidate should be skilled in both photography and videography, with strong technical expertise, creative judgment and the ability to independently lead shoots.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan shoots based on creative briefs and project requirements, including shot lists, locations, equipment, schedules and logistics.
• Lead on-ground shoots end-to-end, managing camera operations, gimbals, lighting, audio and setup to ensure high-quality output.
• Coordinate with internal teams, interns, freelancers and external production resources for smooth shoot execution.
• Guide and mentor interns and junior team members, helping them develop their technical and creative skills.
• Manage Madtowns photography and videography equipment inventory, ensuring proper upkeep, maintenance, availability and effective utilisation.
• Handle basic video and photo editing when required and maintain consistent visual quality across deliverables.

Skill Required:

Must Have:

• 46 years of relevant professional experience in photography, videography or visual content production, preferably in an agency or production environment.
• Strong practical skills in both photography and videography, including camera operation, composition, lighting and visual storytelling.
• Hands-on experience with professional cameras, lenses, gimbals, lighting equipment and audio setups.
• Ability to independently plan and lead shoots, manage production logistics and resolve on-ground challenges.
• Basic proficiency in video and photo editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Lightroom or Photoshop.
• Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead and mentor interns and work effectively with freelancers.
• A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating photography and videography capabilities.

Good to Have:

• A degree, diploma or certification in Photography, Cinematography, Film Production, Visual Communication or a related field.
• Experience managing production equipment inventory, including maintenance, tracking and utilisation.
• Experience across brand campaigns, product shoots, lifestyle content, events and social media productions.
• Experience training junior creatives or developing the capabilities of a young production team.
