    About this role

    Position Summary:

Turn footage captured across MEI Group's global operations into polished, commercially useful video that strengthens brand authority, demonstrates products and tells credible customer stories. This is primarily a senior post-production and repurposing role rather than a requirement to film every global location. The position is full-time and office-based at the Mammoth Jabalpur office, Monday to Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm.

    Main Duties / Key Responsibilities:

    • Edit customer testimonials, case-study films, product demonstrations, application stories, corporate films and executive/SME thought-leadership content.
    • Produce channel-specific short-form video for LinkedIn, social media, paid campaigns and digital advertising from long-form source footage.
    • Create delivery versions for 16:9, 1:1, 4:5, 9:16 and other required channel formats without compromising narrative or brand quality.
    • Undertake professional colour correction/grading, dialogue clean-up, audio mixing, music and sound design appropriate to industrial B2B content.
    • Create motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, transitions, animated diagrams and product callouts in line with approved brand standards.
    • Work with writers, CMLs, product teams and designers to turn briefs, interviews and scripts into clear, compelling video narratives.
    • Review capture briefs before shoots and advise regional teams/contractors on footage, framing, audio and coverage required for efficient post-production.
    • Build reusable editing, caption, motion and brand templates that accelerate multi-entity production while preserving quality.
    • Manage large project files, proxies, source footage, review versions, masters and archives with strict naming and version-control discipline.
    • Use AI video/audio tools appropriately for transcription, search, clean-up and production acceleration without compromising authenticity or approval controls.

    Required Skills and Experience

    Qualifications:

    • Qualification in Film, Video Production, Multimedia, Motion Design or equivalent professional experience.

    Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years of professional video-editing experience with a strong commercial portfolio.
    • Demonstrable experience editing interviews, customer stories, product demonstrations and channel-specific short-form content.
    • B2B, industrial, engineering, automotive, mining, construction or technical-product experience is highly desirable.

    Technical Skills:

    • Advanced Adobe Premiere Pro and strong After Effects capability; DaVinci Resolve grading experience is advantageous.
    • Professional audio editing/clean-up, colour correction/grading, multicam editing, captions/subtitles and motion graphics.
    • Strong understanding of codecs, media encoding, platform delivery specifications, proxy workflows and large-file management.
    • Frame.io or equivalent review workflows plus practical Photoshop/Illustrator familiarity are advantageous.

    Soft Skills:

    • Strong storytelling instinct with the judgement to prioritise message, proof, pacing and sound over unnecessary effects.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to create strong outcomes from imperfect real-world field footage.
    • Highly organised, receptive to structured feedback and able to communicate clearly in professional English across global teams.
