Senior User Experience Designer

Role Description - Location: Bangalore

Role Summary - We are looking for a driven and inspired Senior Designer to join the Product team at Cropin, one of the world’s leading AI-led AgTech SaaS companies, with a vision to transform the agriculture and food production sectors. As a Senior UX Designer, you will bring deep expertise in UX design and research to help define the product vision, and to create and improve B2B and B2B2C applications across web and mobile, including Cropin Cloud and Cropin’s upcoming agentic AI system. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of Designers, Researchers, UX Writers, Agronomists, Product Managers, and Engineers, turning insight about user needs, attitudes, and behaviours into design that aligns with product strategy and increases customer engagement. You will have impact across all levels of product development, with a focus on quality, usability, and simplicity.

Primary Accountabilities -

• Lead end-to-end UX design and research for B2B and B2B2C applications across web and mobile, including Cropin Cloud and Cropin’s agentic AI platform
• Partner with Researchers, UX Writers, Agronomists, Product Managers, and Engineers to translate user needs, attitudes, and behaviours into inspirational, on-strategy design
• Work with stakeholders across operational boundaries, influencing decisions at all levels of product development with a focus on quality, usability, and simplicity
• Apply core UX and Product Design methods, including user research, information architecture, usability testing, task analysis, conceptual design, design sprints, and UX strategy workshops
• Conduct trends study, secondary research, and competitive analysis to inform design direction, and support engineering proof-of-concepts and high-fidelity UI design
• Convert ideas into functional, high-fidelity prototypes using tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Zeplin, and work closely with engineering to implement them into intuitive, reliable, working solutions
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering in an agile and SCRUM environment, helping scope requirements and translate them into scalable, implementable design proposals
• Provide design mentorship and review for other designers on the team, and help raise the bar on design craft and consistency across Cropin’s products.

Best Fit Profile -

• 3 to 6 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in core product and experience design within a B2B enterprise application environment
• Strong working knowledge of UX and Product Design processes: user research, IA, usability testing, task analysis, conceptual design, design sprints, and UX strategy workshops
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator), Zeplin, Sketch, or equivalent, with a portfolio that shows the ability to turn ideas into functional, high-fidelity prototypes
• A track record of working closely with engineering teams to ship design work that is intuitive, polished, and reliable in production
• Experience working with agile and SCRUM methodologies, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to scope requirements and translate them into design proposals.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills, comfortable operating across operational and organisational boundaries
• An entrepreneurial, self-driven mindset, with the curiosity to apply design thinking to complex, data and AI-led agricultural problems
• Background or genuine interest in agri-tech, sustainability, or B2B SaaS is an advantage but not a requirement
• Exposure in UX designing with AI assisted platform
