Senior UI/UX Designer

Our client is an AI-powered campaign planning and marketing calendar platform built exclusively for Shopify DTC brands. Their platform unifies Shopify, Klaviyo, and paid media data into a single workspace, enabling marketing teams to automate data reconciliation, forecast campaigns, and generate creative briefs more efficiently. As the company continues to scale, they are seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to own the product experience and help shape the future of an AI-native SaaS platform.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Senior UI/UX Designer will be responsible for owning the end-to-end user experience across the company's AI-native SaaS platform. The Senior UI/UX Designer will lead user research, design intuitive interfaces, build interactive prototypes, maintain scalable design systems, and collaborate closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to deliver high-converting user experiences. This role is ideal for a designer with extensive SaaS product design experience, a strong understanding of user behavior and conversion optimization, and a passion for leveraging AI throughout the design process.

Fully Remote (Work from Home) | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

USER RESEARCH & DISCOVERY

• Conduct user interviews, surveys, and qualitative and quantitative user research.

• Analyze user behavior to develop user personas and customer journey maps.

• Translate research findings into actionable product and design recommendations.

• Support product strategy through data-driven user insights.

INTERFACE DESIGN & USER EXPERIENCE

• Design intuitive wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and user interfaces for web and mobile applications.

• Develop user experiences focused on usability, engagement, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).

• Create polished, user-centered product experiences that align with business objectives.

• Continuously improve interface usability through iterative design.

PROTOTYPING & VALIDATION

• Build interactive prototypes using Figma and other prototyping tools.

• Conduct usability testing and validate design decisions through user feedback.

• Iterate designs rapidly based on analytics and testing results.

• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.

AI-DRIVEN DESIGN

• Utilize AI-powered design tools to accelerate ideation, research synthesis, and design execution.

• Integrate AI into daily design workflows to improve productivity and efficiency.

• Design intuitive AI-native product experiences.

• Continuously explore emerging AI design patterns and workflows.

DESIGN SYSTEMS & CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

• Build, maintain, and scale comprehensive design systems.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and marketing teams.

• Ensure design consistency across products and platforms.

• Support implementation through detailed design specifications and developer collaboration.

QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE

• 7+ years of experience designing digital products, SaaS applications, complex web applications, or mobile applications.

• Proven experience designing AI-native SaaS applications.

• Experience leading end-to-end product design from research through implementation.

• Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative user research.

• Experience designing for conversion optimization and user engagement.

• Experience building and maintaining scalable design systems.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional product teams.

• Experience within eCommerce, DTC, or marketing technology environments is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS

• Advanced proficiency with Figma.

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.

• Experience using modern prototyping software.

• Strong qualitative and quantitative user research skills.

• Strong wireframing and high-fidelity UI design abilities.

• Strong UX strategy and interaction design skills.

• Strong knowledge of design systems and component libraries.

• Strong understanding of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) principles.

• Experience conducting A/B testing and analyzing user behavior.

• Experience leveraging AI tools throughout the design process.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently while managing projects from concept through delivery.
