Senior Tools & Automation Engineer

8+ years of hands-on experience in Software Tools and Automation

Python proficiency of hands-on Python. Framework ownership, not just scripting. Ability to write clean, structured, reusable code. SSH/Paramiko, pytest/Robot Framework, log parsing, report generation.

• Linux / Networking basics - CLI comfort, TCP/IP fundamentals, network interfaces, packet-level understanding. Ethernet protocol knowledge (VLAN, L2/L3) is a strong plus given Automotive networking IC domain.
• Automation acumen - framework design thinking, CI/CD awareness, SSH-based remote test infrastructure. Not REST API based.
• C/C++ basics - doesn't need to be deep, just enough to understand what's being tested.

• Embedded testing background (CAN, UDS, HIL/SIL)
• AI tools usage in daily workflow
• Automotive domain knowledge
• Networking: Ethernet Frame Structure, VLAN Tagging, Routing & Switching, IPv4/IPv6 Packet Flow, Tagging Concepts.
• Python (Basic & Advanced): Data Types, Classes, Multi-threading
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent customer communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with global, cross-functional engineering teams
• Hands-on experience with specialized Python libraries: python-can, pymodbus, scapy, numpy, scikit-learn
• Professional background in Automotive (e.g., Autonomous Driving, EV) or Industrial Automation sectors
• Solid knowledge of Linux system administration and shell scripting (Bash)
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related field
