Senior Test Engineer

Position- Sr. Test Engineer

Location - Hybrid

Location- Hyderabad

LendingTree is a FinTech company seeking a Senior Test Engineer to own quality from planning through release. This individual contributor will independently lead testing for an assigned project across web, mobile, and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies and perform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Build and maintain web and API automation using Playwright with C# or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Use agentic AI tools to develop test scenarios and automation, investigate failures, and improve coverage. Review and validate AI-generated results.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, investigate defects, and communicate quality risks.
• Independently manage testing priorities and assess release readiness.

Required skills

• Strong functional testing and test design skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Playwright and C# for web and API automation.
• Prior experience with REST Assured and Java for API automation.
• Extensive hands-on experience with agentic AI tools such as Claude or Codex in software testing and automation.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, test reporting, and defect tracking.
• Ability to own a project independently and collaborate with developers and product teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with visual testing and accessibility testing.
• Strong familiarity with FinTech terminology, products, and customer journeys.
• Experience testing financial services applications.
• Build and maintain mobile application automation for iOS and Android.
• Thorough knowledge of test automation framework design, including reusable components, test data management, reporting, and CI/CD integration.
• Exposure to front-end applications built with Angular or React, including an understanding of how their components and asynchronous behavior affect automated testing.
