Senior Test Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Finacle Functional Tester with hands-on experience in Core Banking Testing and strong exposure to various Finacle modules. The candidate will be responsible for validating banking functionalities, creating and executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring the quality of Finacle-based banking applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional testing of Finacle Core Banking Solution (CBS).
• Validate customer creation, customer maintenance, and CIF-related processes.
• Test account opening, account modifications, account closures, and account servicing functionalities.
• Verify transaction processing, accounting entries, and financial postings.
• Validate interest calculations, charges, penalties, and fee processing.
• Perform End-to-End testing across Finacle modules.
• Ensure compliance with banking policies, business rules, and regulatory requirements.
• Execute System Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and UAT.
• Log, track, and verify defects through closure.
• Maintain test artifacts, execution reports, and project documentation.
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly status reports to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers for defect resolution and requirement clarification.

Mandatory Skills

• Experience in Finacle Functional Testing.
• Strong knowledge of Core Banking Operations.
• Expertise in Manual Testing and Test Case Preparation.
• Experience in Test Case Execution and Defect Management.
• Knowledge of STLC and Testing Methodologies.
• Strong understanding of Banking Processes and Transactions.

Mandatory Finacle Modules Exposure

Candidate must have hands-on experience in one or more of the following modules:

• Customer Information File (CIF)
• Deposits Module
• Loans Module
• Teller Operations
• Funds Transfer Module
