Senior Test Engineer

Job Summary

• Functional Testing Skills - Strong experience (3-5 years) in functional testing and UAT execution.
• Ability to analyze BRD/FSD documents and derive comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Hands on experience in test planning, test execution, defect reporting, and defect lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC) and UAT processes.

Documentation & Reporting

• Ability to prepare and maintain test progress dashboards, including executed/pending cases and defect trackers.
• Proficient in documenting clear, well structured test artifacts.

Communication & Coordination

• Effective communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and business users.
• Ability to provide concise daily updates and escalate issues appropriately.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.

Domain Knowledge / Experience

• Domain knowledge of KYC and CKYC processes (preferred).
• Experience in banking or financial services applications.
• Familiarity with common defect management tools, workflow systems, and dashboard/reporting tools.
• Strong analytical mind set with a detail oriented approach.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross functional teams.
