Senior Test Engineer - L3 (Cards/Payments domain)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Test Engineer L3 to join our team at Wipro Technologies, specializing in the Cards & Payments domain and switching platforms. This role requires substantial experience, typically between 5-10 years, in Quality Assurance and Implementation within this specialized domain.

• Lead and execute comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of payment switching platforms.

As a Test Engineer L3, your key responsibilities will include:

• Test Case Development: Design and create detailed test cases based on functional requirements, ensuring comprehensive test coverage across different modules and scenarios.
• Test Data and Environment Preparation: Develop robust data validation scenarios and coordinate with client stakeholders to establish and maintain an effective test environment.
• Test Execution and Result Analysis: Conduct thorough functional and regression testing cycles, actively identifying, documenting, and analyzing defects to maintain high software quality.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive test evidence, review reports, and update defect tracking tools systematically to keep all stakeholders informed.

• In-depth knowledge and experience in Cards & Payments domain and switching platform technologies.
• Proficiency in Unix shell scripting and automation frameworks supporting test automation efforts.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Puppet for optimizing release cycles.
• Expertise in defect tracking and project management platforms, particularly JIRA.
