SENIOR TEST ENGINEER - Automation testing

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and API applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks using modern testing tools.
• Create and execute API test automation suites.
• Perform cross-browser compatibility testing and accessibility testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and Scrum teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Analyze test results, report defects, and track issues through resolution.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute towards improving QA processes and test strategies.

Must Have Skills

• 2?4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Experience with automation frameworks like Cypress and/or Playwright.
• Strong knowledge of API testing and automation.
• Hands-on experience with tools like: + Postman + Swagger/OpenAPI + Requests Library
• Good understanding of SQL and database testing.
• Experience working with MongoDB or NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with Git and version control practices.
• Knowledge of Docker and container-based testing environments.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum framework.
• Experience in cross-browser testing and accessibility testing.

Good To Have Skills

• Experience with Python for automation scripting.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and tools, especially Azure DevOps.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms: + Microsoft Azure + Google Cloud Services (GCS)
• Experience with AI-based QA tools/testing approaches.
• Knowledge of performance testing concepts and tools.
• Experience designing and maintaining API automation frameworks.
