Job Location: Chennai (with regular travel across Tamil Nadu)
Experience: 810 years
Salary: 9.615 Lakhs
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a relevant engineering discipline.
Job Experience: Strong in Technical Marketing and Sales of any Product.
Added Advantage: Experience in the construction industry Cement, Steel, Building materials.

Job Role:
We are looking for an experienced and technically strong professional to lead technical marketing activities, support business development, and promote our TMT steel products among construction companies, builders, contractors, dealers, distributors, structural consultants, and infrastructure project clients. The candidate will be required to attend business meetings, deliver technical presentations, and coordinate with the production and quality teams to address technical queries and customer concerns.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute technical sales and marketing strategies to promote the companys TMT steel products across Tamil Nadu.
2. Build and maintain strong business relationships through technical sales with construction companies, builders, contractors, dealers, structural consultants, architects, and infrastructure project clients.
3. Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and support the achievement of sales and revenue targets.
4. Conduct technical meetings, customer presentations, product demonstrations, and promotional activities to communicate the benefits and applications of the companys TMT products.
5. Participate in industry meetings, customer conferences, technical seminars, and other business development events.

Skills required or to be learnt immediately upon joining:

1. Knowledge of steelmaking processes and TMT bar manufacturing.
2. Understanding of the physical and chemical composition of TMT bars, various TMT steel grades, including Fe 500, Fe 500D, Fe 550, and Fe 550D, as per applicable product specifications.
3. Knowledge of applicable BIS standards, including IS 1786, and relevant testing and certification requirements.

Required Skills:

1. Knowledge of steelmaking processes and TMT bar manufacturing.
2. Understanding of the physical and chemical composition of TMT bars, Various TMT steel grades, including Fe 500, Fe 500D, Fe 550, and Fe 550D, subject to applicable product specifications.
3. Knowledge of applicable BIS standards, including IS 1786, and relevant testing and certification requirements.
