About this role
Role & responsibilities
- Design and architect solutions for the project
- Lead a team of software developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship
- Establish coding standards, best practices and development methodologies
- Provide technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle
- Work with product managers and engage directly with clients to define and refine requirements
- Conduct code reviews and debug complex issues
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- 8-10 years hands-on experience with C++ and/or Qt/QML
- Software design patterns and architecture principles
- Model-View architectures (MVC / MVVM / Model-View-Delegate)
- Proven experience leading development teams
- Agile and waterfall methodologies
- Project estimation (function points, user story points)
- Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Data Science and Analytics (AI/ML) tools is an added advantage
SOFT SKILLS - Leadership, clear technical communication, team mentoring, problem-solving in challenging project environments
Preferred candidate profile
- 8-10 years building production software in C++ and/or Qt/QML, with at least 2-3 years leading a development team.
- Comfortable owning architecture and design decisions rather than implementing someone else's.
- Background in product engineering, embedded systems, defence, industrial automation or similar domains where software runs on real hardware.
- Based in Pune or willing to relocate. This is an on-site role.
