Senior Technical Architect

Job Summary

The Senior Technical Architect will own technical architecture across complex software initiatives, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end application and platform architecture.
• Lead architecture decisions for complex systems.
• Develop high-level and low-level technical designs.
• Define technology standards and reference architectures.
• Evaluate technology choices and architectural trade-offs.
• Design scalable distributed systems and microservices.
• Ensure security, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Conduct architecture and technical design reviews.
• Work with engineering leadership and Product teams.
• Guide multiple development teams.
• Identify technical risks and mitigation strategies.
• Drive modernization and technical-debt reduction.
• Mentor senior engineers and technical leads.

Preferred Candidate Requirements

• 8 to 10 years of software engineering/architecture experience.
• Strong system-design and architecture expertise.
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Strong cloud experience.
• Experience with APIs, databases, messaging, caching, and integration patterns.
• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD.
• Strong security and scalability understanding.
• Excellent technical communication and stakeholder-management skills.
