Senior TDM Engineer (Java/Python + SQL + US Healthcare + Delphix)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Test Data Management (TDM) Engineer with strong SQL, hands-on Java or Python development, and US Healthcare domain experience. The role will focus on designing and delivering secure, compliant, and production-like test data solutions across enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with data masking, de-identification, data subsetting, test data provisioning, and automation, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and PII/PHI requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise Test Data Management (TDM) solutions for lower/test environments.
• Develop solutions for data masking, de-identification, subsetting, and test data provisioning.
• Build and maintain reusable TDM pipelines and automation for data refreshes, provisioning, and self-service test data requests.
• Perform hands-on development using Java or Python to build automation, utilities, integrations, and data-processing solutions.
• Write complex SQL queries for data profiling, validation, troubleshooting, transformation, and performance tuning.
• Work with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL while maintaining data relationships and referential integrity.
• Define masking rules for protecting sensitive PII/PHI while maintaining realistic and usable test data.
• Work with TDM/masking tools such as Delphix, Informatica TDM, GenRocket, Broadcom/CA TDM, or equivalent platforms.
• Collaborate with QA, Development, DevOps, and client teams to understand and deliver test data requirements.
• Support US Healthcare applications and datasets while adhering to HIPAA and data privacy requirements.
• Integrate TDM solutions with CI/CD and test automation processes.
• Create technical documentation for TDM processes, masking rules, automation, and implementation standards.

Mandatory Skills

• 4 to 8+ years of experience in Test Data Management, data engineering, database development, or related areas.
• Strong hands-on SQL experience with relational databases.
• Strong development experience in Java or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Test Data Management (TDM) and data provisioning.
• Experience with data masking / de-identification and data subsetting.
• Experience with at least one TDM tool such as Delphix, Informatica TDM, GenRocket, Broadcom/CA TDM, or similar.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and referential integrity.
• Experience in the US Healthcare domain, preferably working with payer/provider-related datasets.
• Understanding of HIPAA, PII, and PHI data protection requirements.
• Good communication skills with the ability to interact directly with customers and delivery teams.

Nice to Have

• CI/CD and test automation experience.
• Azure or AWS cloud exposure.
• Shell scripting and automation experience.
• Containerization experience using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Exposure to synthetic test data generation.
• Experience integrating TDM solutions into automated testing and DevOps pipelines.

Locations: Bangalore / Hyderabad / Pune / Chennai / Vadodara

Shift: 2 PM to 11 PM IST
