Senior Tax Reviewer

Job Description:

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Tax Reviewer with strong US Tax review experience to manage review quality, mentor preparers, and support both India and US tax teams. The role involves reviewing Individual and Business Tax Returns, identifying tax-saving opportunities, conducting tax research, and ensuring timely delivery during busy tax seasons.

Key Responsibilities:
. Review standard and complex Individual & Business Tax Returns prepared by India and US teams
. Identify tax-saving opportunities and planning recommendations during review
. Provide clear review comments and technical guidance to preparers
. Mentor and coach preparers on technical, workflow, and quality aspects
. Conduct tax research and document conclusions on complex tax matters
. Coordinate with clients for pending items, queries, and updates
. Review client documents and ensure data accuracy and completeness
. Manage workflow during busy season and ensure timely delivery
. Help improve review processes, quality controls, and internal checklists
. Attend internal tax and knowledge-sharing sessions
. Build and maintain strong client relationships

Required Skills & Qualifications:
. EA (Enrolled Agent) Certification - Mandatory
. 5+ years of US Tax Review experience
. Hands-on experience with 1040, 1065, 1120 & 1120S Tax Returns is mandatory
. Experience reviewing Individual & Business Tax Returns
. Strong knowledge of Federal & Multi-State Taxation
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
. Strong multitasking and organisational abilities
. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
. Experience with CRM systems preferred

Good to Have:
. Experience with Lacerte and Karbon
. Prior mentoring or reviewer experience
