Senior Tax Position - Direct & Indirect Tax Job Description

• A Chartered Accountant with minimum 15 years experience in Income Tax & GST Acts
• Sound knowledge of Real Estate, Construction, and Works Contract Services
• Coordinate tax return(s) / tax audit preparation & other compliances under direct & Indirect tax
• Prepare timely and effective responses to tax notices and inquiries under direct & indirect tax
• Acting as custodians of documents to be submitted for completing the faceless tax assessments under the direct & indirect tax laws
• Identify tax planning opportunities
• Review of tax provisions required for the quarterly/annual financial statement reporting requirements
• Research of new income tax law and advising appropriate actions for improved compliance and tax planning
• Co-ordinating with companys ERP team to identify process gaps and implement long term fixes
• Participate in training and developing tax team and building a service oriented tax team
• Handling taxation of high net-worth individuals
• Work closely with accounts, finance and audit teams while providing tax solutions to internal customers
• Coordination with external tax advisors from time to time
• Completion of pre-GST tax litigations in the States of Telangana, AP & UP
