Senior Tax Analyst

Role & responsibilities

The role will involve supporting and managing taxation activities across multiple areas, including:

• International tax compliance, reporting and analysis
  • VAT and Middle East taxation exposure
  • Tax reconciliations and assessments
  • Withholding Tax (WHT) compliance and analysis
  • Transfer Pricing and related documentation
  • Corporate tax-related activities
  • Review and analysis of financial and tax data
  • Coordination with Finance teams and external tax consultants
  • Supporting tax assessments and preparation of relevant documentation
  • Preparation of tax reports, dashboards and management information
  • Monitoring changes in tax regulations and assessing their impact
  • Supporting tax reporting and compliance systems
  • Contributing to process improvements and tax-related automation initiatives

Preferred candidate profile

CA / CPA / ACCA or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting or Taxation
35 years of relevant taxation experience
Exposure to VAT, Zakat, WHT and Transfer Pricing
Strong understanding of direct and indirect tax compliance
Experience with tax reconciliations, assessments and compliance documentation
Experience with ERP systems preferably Oracle or SAP
Advanced MS Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets
Experience preparing dashboards and management reports
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to strict deadlines
