Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Senior Talent Acquisition Specialists to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and ensuring smooth onboarding. The role requires strong communication skills, good candidate-handling ability, and the capability to manage multiple open positions and hiring targets simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process across multiple functions and levels.
• Understand job requirements and coordinate with hiring managers to define candidate profiles.
• Source candidates through Naukri, LinkedIn, job portals, social media, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial telephonic/video screening to assess candidate suitability.
• Maintain and regularly update the candidate pipeline and recruitment tracker/ATS.
• Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers.
• Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process and ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Collect and evaluate interview feedback and communicate the same to candidates.
• Negotiate compensation and coordinate the offer process with selected candidates.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with selected candidates until their date of joining.
• Conduct reference/background verification wherever applicable.
• Coordinate with HR/Admin for the candidate's onboarding and joining formalities.
• Maintain accurate recruitment MIS and provide regular hiring updates.
• Track recruitment metrics such as open positions, profiles sourced, interviews, selections, offers, and joining ratio.
• Build and maintain a strong candidate database for future hiring requirements.
• Support employer branding and recruitment campaigns on relevant platforms.
• Ensure recruitment activities are completed within defined timelines and hiring targets.

Required Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good candidate assessment and screening skills.
• Strong sourcing and networking capabilities.
• Ability to understand different job requirements and identify relevant profiles.
• Good negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple positions and priorities simultaneously.
• Good knowledge of recruitment portals and sourcing platforms.
• Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and recruitment trackers/ATS.
• Result-oriented approach with a strong focus on closures and joining conversion.

Preferred Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment.
• Experience in EdTech, Education, B2B, Sales, or similar industries is preferred.
• Prior experience in hiring for Sales, Counselling, Operations, and Corporate functions will be an added advantage.
