Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition professional with 5+ years of experience, preferably from the Retail industry, who can independently manage PAN India recruitment across retail stores and corporate functions. The candidate should have strong sourcing capabilities, extensive HR/community networks, exposure to campus hiring, and experience in innovative offline recruitment campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

1. PAN India Retail Recruitment

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for PAN India retail stores and corporate requirements.
• Handle bulk and volume hiring for positions such as Store Managers, Sales Managers, Sales Executives, Cluster Managers, and other retail roles.
• Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline across different cities and regions.
• Ensure positions are closed within agreed timelines and hiring targets.

2. Sourcing & Recruitment

• Utilize Naukri, LinkedIn, job portals, employee referrals, social media, recruitment agencies, and local hiring channels.
• Develop innovative sourcing strategies for difficult-to-hire and volume positions.
• Build strong relationships with candidates and ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Maintain a database of potential candidates for future requirements.

3. Offline & Outdoor Recruitment Advertising

• Plan and execute recruitment campaigns through Bus, Train/Metro, Auto, Wall Posters, Hoardings, Pamphlets, Local Advertisements, and other outdoor media.
• Coordinate with vendors/agencies for recruitment advertisements and branding activities.
• Identify cost-effective local advertising channels to support retail hiring.

4. Campus & College Hiring

• Drive college/campus hiring initiatives across Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
• Establish relationships with colleges, universities, placement cells, and educational institutions.
• Conduct campus drives, walk-in drives, job fairs, and bulk recruitment campaigns.
• Build a strong network of colleges for continuous entry-level hiring.

5. HR Community & Local Network

• Develop and maintain strong contacts with HR professionals, recruiters, consultants, local HR communities, and recruitment networks across India.
• Leverage HR networking groups and professional communities for faster sourcing.
• Build local recruitment networks in key retail markets and cities.

6. Recruitment Analytics & Reporting

• Track recruitment metrics such as open positions, sourcing, interviews, selection, joining ratio, TAT, and hiring cost.
• Prepare regular recruitment reports and provide updates to management.
• Identify hiring challenges and implement corrective sourcing strategies.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment.
• Strong experience in Retail Hiring / Volume Hiring / PAN India Recruitment.
• Experience hiring for multiple locations and retail stores across India.
• Strong knowledge of Naukri, LinkedIn, job portals, social media, and other sourcing channels.
• Exposure to campus hiring, Tier 2 & Tier 3 city hiring, job fairs, and walk-in drives.
• Experience in offline recruitment advertising and outdoor recruitment campaigns.
• Strong network with HR communities, recruiters, consultants, and local hiring partners.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder-management, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven recruitment environment.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates from Retail, Furniture, Home Furnishing, Consumer Durables, FMCG, Lifestyle, or other high-volume hiring industries will be preferred.
