Role Summary:
Responsible for overseeing material management and administrative functions at project sites. Ensures all materials are received, stored, issued, and reconciled in compliance with client and organizational procedures. Maintains accurate inventory records and coordinates with accounts, stores, and project teams.
What Youll Do:
- Implement and adhere to material entry procedures at project sites in line with client and project requirements
- Manage Goods Receipt Note (GRN) and Inspection Report (IR) processes for documentation and compliance
- Coordinate with accounts, procurement, and stores to support material management and reporting
- Oversee daily material receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance, maintaining proper records
- Maintain stock registers and update inventory levels on a weekly/monthly basis
- Acknowledge material-related documents and forward to head office or project team for audit compliance
- Manage gate pass formalities and assist with material movement and traceability
- Conduct monthly material reconciliations and prepare reconciliation reports
- Provide administrative support related to materials handling and stakeholder coordination
What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):
- Strong knowledge of stores and inventory management practices
- Familiarity with GRN/IR processes and material documentation procedures
- Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams including Civil, Electrical, and Instrumentation
- Proficiency in record-keeping, documentation, and reporting
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Good to Have (Optional - only if mentioned):
- Relevant certifications in material management, inventory control, or supply chain processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline
