Job Summary

A reputed construction company in the Maldives is looking for an experienced Senior Storekeeper to manage construction materials, inventory, stock records, goods receiving and issuing, and day-to-day store operations at the project site.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day store operations at the construction site.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming construction materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Issue materials to site teams based on authorized requests.
• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory documentation.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
• Maintain proper records of material receipts, issues, returns, and transfers.
• Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile stock with records.
• Identify damaged, excess, or shortage materials and report discrepancies.
• Properly organize and store construction materials for easy identification and access.
• Coordinate with procurement, site engineers, project teams, and suppliers regarding material requirements.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all store-related records.
• Maintain safe and systematic storage practices in accordance with company procedures.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in a reputed construction company.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and site store operations.
• Good knowledge of:

• Goods Receiving & Issuing
• Material Documentation
• Stock Reconciliation
• Material Tracking
• Experience maintaining accurate stock and inventory records.
• Experience coordinating with site, procurement, and project teams.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Basic English communication skills preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge is preferred.
• Degree or Diploma in a relevant field will be an added advantage.

• Able to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Capable of working independently and handling multiple store-related activities.
• Responsible and disciplined with good coordination skills.
• Willing to work in a construction-site environment in the Maldives.
