Senior Staff Nurse - OT

1. Providing direct support and assistant to the patient pre, intra and
immediate post operatively.

2. Participate and monitor cleaning activities in between
the cases.

3. Part of smooth functionality and maximum utilization
of OT.

4. Assist with the implementation of policy and
procedures for the quality assurance and improvement function of nursing
services in the OT to assure improve nursing compliance with NABH and JCI.

5. Develop and maintain good relation with staff and
physician and other stake holders to patient care.

6. Act as a liaison between quality and nursing
department for improving function of nursing services.

7. Participate and utilize result of audit/quality
improvement and/or research activities to improve patient care as learning
experiences for staff.

8. Participate in hands on educational programme s with
help of education department ensuring training is completed on time.

9. Participate in ACLS and BLS training round the year as
required by the department as well as organization.

10. Ensuring the training hours been completed.

11. Participate and assist in all types of audit for the
better patient care and clinical outcome.

12. Perform all other related duties incidental to the
work described as required by Supervisor of Nursing.

To ensure safe surgical checklist and timeout is compiled pertaining to
documentation

14. Patient safety (physical, mental and environmental)
to be ensured in the OT.

15. Inventory management and responsibility of optimizing
the storage and usage of inventory.

16. Participate in OT list preparation and report on Case
done at the end of the day to the Supervisor.
