Senior Sql Server Developer - Full-time Freelancer / Contractor

Role & responsibilities

• Extensive experience in Microsoft SQL Server and advanced T-SQL development
• Strong expertise in complex Stored Procedures, CTEs, Window Functions, Functions and Query Optimization
• Strong understanding of relational database architecture, schema design and data modelling
• Hands-on expertise in SQL Server Execution Plan analysis
• Advanced knowledge of indexing strategies, query refactoring and performance optimization
• Experience identifying and resolving deadlocks, blocking and database performance bottlenecks
• Ability to independently reverse-engineer complex database structures and existing data models
• Ability to quickly understand underlying functional/business logic from databases and existing applications
• Experience handling production database issues and performance troubleshooting with minimal supervision
• Capable of independently managing activities from requirement understanding through development, testing and production deployment
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
