Senior SQL Database Developer

We are looking for a Senior SQL Developer with 8+ years of experience in SQL Server and T-SQL development, preferably with experience in the mutual fund/trading/capital markets/financial services domain.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and triggers.
• Perform query tuning, indexing, execution plan analysis, and performance optimization.
• Handle data migration, transformation, porting, validation, and reconciliation.
• Troubleshoot database and production / UAT issues.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, consistency, and security.
• Work with developers, BAs, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
• Independently own database development and optimization activities.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or a related field.

Mandatory Skills:

• SQL Server and T-SQL.

• Complex SQL Queries and Data Manipulation.
• Query Performance Tuning and Optimization.

• Version Control / Git.
• Database Security and Data Integrity.

Domain Knowledge:

• Trading / Mutual Fund / Capital Markets experience preferred.
• Understanding of financial transactions, reporting, reconciliation, and business processes.
