Senior Sourcing Specialist

Role & responsibilities

• Track product development and sample execution with suppliers.
• Visit new suppliers and gather interesting information for the company 
• Take the lead in order development, product selection, new trend detection, etc on assigned suppliers.
• Support the merchandising team and quality team on daily operations.
• Coordinate sample revisions and approvals.
• Monitor development progress through final validation.
• Manage orders from confirmation to shipment readiness.
• Make sure suppliers meet all agreed deadlines and commitments; escalate risks or delays as needed.
• Support supplier onboarding and coordinate factory interactions.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships while enforcing business discipline.
• Keep buyers and internal teams regularly updated on developments, order status, risks, and delays.
• Liaise with freight forwarders and internal stakeholders for smooth shipments.
• Oversee inspection planning and production readiness.
• Assist supplier development and participate in trips as needed.
• Help improve merchandising and order management processes.

• Good understanding of product development and sampling process
• Ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously
• Strong communication and supplier follow-up capabilities
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills
• Fast learner with strong ownership mindset
