Senior Solution Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced FDE (Senior Solution Consultant) with strong Data Engineering and Databricks expertise. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience delivering Databricks projects and the ability to work closely with clients to design, implement, and optimize data engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable data engineering solutions using Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Work directly with clients to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
• Lead or contribute to the delivery of Databricks-based data engineering projects.
• Design and implement multi-hop data pipelines and Lakehouse architectures.
• Optimize Spark workloads for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Troubleshoot data pipelines, Spark jobs, and production issues.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices to clients and internal engineering teams.
• Conduct technical discussions, solution walkthroughs, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of Data Engineering experience and 5+ years of consulting experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering 23 or more Databricks projects.
• Strong knowledge of Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark, and SQL.
• Experience with Spark and/or Hadoop.
• Exposure to Flink, Presto, or other popular Big Data processing engines.
• Strong understanding of Databricks multi-hop pipeline architecture and Lakehouse concepts.
• Experience in data pipeline development, ETL/ELT, data transformation, and optimization.
• Strong client-facing communication and consulting skills.

Certifications & Training

• Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional certification preferred/required
