The Opportunity As a

Senior QA Engineer , you'll own quality across our Android and iOS applications, ensuring every feature delivers a seamless customer experience. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to define test strategies, execute comprehensive testing, drive automation using

Appium , and continuously improve our release quality. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong manual testing expertise with hands-on automation experience and enjoys taking ownership of product quality in a fast-paced startup.

What You'll Do

• Own product quality: Drive end-to-end testing for Android and iOS applications across functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
• Test mobile experiences: Validate application behavior across multiple devices, OS versions, screen sizes, and varying network conditions.
• Automate repetitive workflows: Build and maintain automated test suites using

Appium to improve regression coverage and release confidence.

• Validate backend integrations: Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools to ensure seamless communication between mobile and backend systems.
• Ensure release readiness: Plan, execute, and sign off on releases by identifying risks, validating fixes, and ensuring production readiness.
• Drive defect management: Identify, prioritize, document, and work closely with engineering teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Collaborate early: Participate in requirement discussions, sprint planning, and design reviews to identify risks, edge cases, and improve testability.
• Improve QA processes: Continuously enhance test coverage, testing methodologies, automation adoption, and overall QA best practices.
• Mentor team members: Guide junior QA engineers, promote quality-first thinking, and help establish testing standards across the engineering organization.

What We're Looking For

• 5–8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong experience in

Mobile Application Testing for Android and iOS platforms.

• Hands-on experience with

Appium for mobile automation testing.

• Strong understanding of manual testing principles, exploratory testing, regression testing, and release validation.
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman or similar tools.
• Familiarity with SQL for backend data validation.
• Experience working with Jira, Git, and Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation execution is preferred.
• Exposure to BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, Firebase, Crashlytics, or similar mobile testing tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
