Senior Software Engineer

Position : Senior Software Engineer [Full Stack Senior Engineer – AI SaaS Data Protection Platform] Experience: 3+ years Location: Hyderabad(on-site)

Responsibilities

• Extend and scale SysCloud’s AI workflow automation platform for managing backup, export, restore, and related SaaS data protection workflows.
• Build and maintain React-based UI components for workflow visualization, configuration review, approval flows, operational controls, and monitoring dashboards.
• Design and implement backend services and APIs that support workflow execution, configuration validation, integration management, and operational pipelines.
• Work with the Data Access Layer team to model schemas for diverse SaaS application configurations, backup metadata, restore workflows, and related platform data structures.
• Collaborate on extending the platform beyond backup and export workflows into restore operations, lifecycle actions, fidelity checks, and other add-on capabilities.
• Integrate with third-party SaaS APIs such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Slack, Box, and other cloud application platforms.
• Partner with senior engineers to improve platform architecture, configuration standards, validation logic, reusable workflow patterns, and developer productivity.
• Write clean, tested, production-grade code across the full stack.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, troubleshooting, and production readiness reviews.
• Contribute to internal documentation, including design documents, implementation notes, and operational runbooks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in a full stack role.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in React, including hooks, state management, and component architecture.
• Solid backend experience in Node.js, or PHP, or Python.
• Working knowledge of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Experience with schema design, data modeling, and Data Access Layer patterns.
• Ability to independently own feature slices across frontend, backend, and data layers.
• Experience consuming and integrating REST or GraphQL APIs, ideally with cloud SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Box, Slack, or similar systems.
• Comfortable working in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/Fargate, DynamoDB, S3, and SQS is a strong plus.
• Strong debugging, testing, and code review discipline.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering team while extending an existing platform.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and containerized deployments.
• Prior experience in backup, data protection, disaster recovery, SaaS administration, or cloud security domains.
• Understanding of CQRS, event-driven architecture, asynchronous processing, or large-scale data modeling.
• Experience working with high-volume systems involving large datasets and performance-sensitive workflows.
• Experience with SCIM, SSO, Okta, or Microsoft Entra is a plus.
