About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes full ownership of outcomes, and enjoys building scalable products from the ground up. The ideal candidate is deeply technical, highly self-driven, and highly proficient in Claude-driven development. You should be comfortable using Claude and other LLMs as a core part of your daily engineering workflow, including architecture planning, code generation, debugging, refactoring, testing, documentation, and productivity improvement. You will play a key role in designing scalable systems, building high-quality products, improving engineering velocity through AI-assisted workflows, and helping shape our technical culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications, APIs, backend services, and microservices.
• Own complex technical projects from architecture through implementation, testing, deployment, and iteration.
• Build robust backend systems using Python, Django, Django REST Framework, PostgreSQL, Redis, and related technologies.
• Develop responsive, high-performance frontend applications using React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Design and optimize databases, caching layers, data models, and service integrations using PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
• Architect scalable, secure, and reliable systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Use

Claude as a primary engineering productivity tool for solution design, technical research, code generation, debugging, code review, test creation, documentation, and rapid prototyping.

• Build and refine AI-assisted development workflows that improve engineering speed, code quality, and delivery consistency.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, operations, and leadership teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Establish and promote engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, observability, performance optimization, documentation, and maintainable architecture.
• Act as a technical leader and trusted owner for critical systems, high-impact initiatives, and engineering execution.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on full-stack software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Python, Django, Django REST Framework, React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, and GCP.
• Proven experience building scalable APIs, backend services, microservices, and complex business logic.
• Strong frontend development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and responsive, high-performance web applications.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and scalable architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, including cloud services, deployment workflows, infrastructure, monitoring, and production operations.
• High proficiency with Claude-driven software development, including prompt-driven architecture exploration, implementation planning, code generation, debugging, refactoring, testing, and documentation.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code and ensure correctness, scalability, security, maintainability, and alignment with engineering standards.
• Experience working in startup, high-growth, or fast-paced product environments.
• Demonstrated ability to independently own, prioritize, and deliver critical projects.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Comfortable working in AI-powered engineering workflows where speed, judgment, and technical quality are equally important.
