Senior Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Take end-to-end ownership of products and features — from ideation, architecture, and development to deployment and continuous improvement.
• Design and build scalable, user-centric solutions that solve critical business challenges while delivering seamless customer experiences.
• Develop high-quality, modular, maintainable, and production-ready code following engineering best practices.
• Optimize system architecture, application performance, scalability, reliability, and security across services.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, AI, and DevOps to deliver impactful solutions.
• Build and maintain robust backend services, APIs, and distributed systems with a focus on performance and resilience.
• Ensure high system availability and smooth deployments with minimal to zero downtime.
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, mentoring, and engineering best practices initiatives.
• Leverage AI-assisted development workflows and modern engineering tools to accelerate development while maintaining strong software fundamentals.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience), preferably from Tier-1 institutions.
• Strong strategic communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability in real-world problem solving using first-principles thinking.
• Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot), Python (Django), and Golang.
• Hands-on experience with database design, RDBMS (PostgreSQL), and NoSQL databases.
• Skilled in writing unit and integration test cases.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS EC2, Cognito, API Gateway, ECS).
• Experience with pub-sub technologies (SQS, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Knowledge of caching tools (Redis, Hazelcast).
• Exposure to DevOps practices and Big Data (a plus).
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns (Microservices, CQRS, Domain-Driven Design).
• Proficiency with GenAI tools and “vibe coding,” backed by solid fundamentals.
• Mandatory exposure to Artificial Intelligence / AI Engineering.
