About the Role We are building

Super AI Calling Agent – India’s first AI-powered call assistant, exclusively for Large Telecom's 200M+ subscribers. Super AI Calling agent autonomously answers calls, conducts natural conversations in Indic languages, screens calls, takes messages, and handles tasks using on-device Small Language Models (SLMs). This is a

hands-on technical leadership role . You will architect, build, and scale native Android and iOS solutions that overcome Android’s RTP audio stream isolation through carrier platform signing and privileged APIs. Eventually you will lead a small, high-impact team while writing production code daily. If you have shipped complex telephony/AI voice solutions on mobile and love deep system-level integration, this is your chance to build something transformative at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Native Mobile Development: Architect and implement

native Android (Kotlin) and

native iOS (Swift) versions of SACA, focusing on call integration.

• Audio Injection & Telephony : Build system-level audio routing into active cellular calls (RTP streams) using platform-signed APKs, InCallService, ConnectionService, AudioTrack/AudioRecord with VOICE_COMMUNICATION, and privileged permissions (MODIFY_PHONE_STATE, CAPTURE_AUDIO_OUTPUT, CALL_PRIVILEGED).
• On-Device AI Pipeline : Integrate 3B SLM (Gemma or Similar), Android SpeechRecognizer / iOS Speech, TextToSpeech, and low-latency STT/LLM/TTS flows (~3-5s turn latency).
• Platform Signing & Privileges : Collaborate with carriers (e.g., Large Telco's) for APK signing, system app status, and hidden APIs (TelecomManager, AudioManager routing, FLAG_CALL_REDIRECTION).
• Cross-Platform Consistency : Ensure identical core functionality, performance, and privacy (on-device-first) across Android 10+ and iOS.
• Scalability & Reliability : Optimize for 4GB+ RAM devices, battery, VoLTE/VoWiFi, emergency call bypass, multi-device testing (Samsung, Xiaomi, Iphone etc.).
• Compliance : Implement consent, AI disclosure, DPDP/privacy, security audits.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 10+ years in mobile development, with

strong hands-on experience building production native Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) apps.

• Proven expertise in

telephony and call audio :

• Android Telecom APIs, InCallService, ConnectionService, RTP stream handling.
• Audio injection/routing into live calls (AudioTrack, AudioManager, VOICE_COMMUNICATION).
• Experience with platform certificates, system apps, or privileged permissions is a

big plus.

• Experience integrating

on-device AI/ML (LLMs, STT/TTS, llama.cpp, TensorFlow Lite / Core ML).

• Deep understanding of

Android security architecture and carrier integration (VoLTE, platform signing).

• Strong Kotlin, Swift, Gradle, Xcode, Jetpack Compose / SwiftUI.
• Track record shipping high-scale consumer apps with low-latency audio/voice features.
• Experience with real-time audio processing, call state management, and background execution.

Nice to Have

• Prior work on voice AI assistants, call automation, or telco VAS.
• Experience with carrier partnerships or platform-signed apps.
• Knowledge of iOS CallKit and Android equivalents.
• Background in edtech, AI startups, or scaling to millions of users.
