Senior Software Engineer

We recently raised a $38M Series B to accelerate our expansion across multiple cities, invest in kitchen infrastructure, and strengthen our supply chain. The Role As an Senior Software Engineer you'll play a key role in designing, building, and scaling the services that power ordering, kitchen operations, delivery orchestration, inventory management, and customer experiences. You'll work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to solve challenging problems and build reliable systems that support a rapidly growing business.

What You'll Work On

• Design, build, and scale backend services and APIs that power core business workflows
• Own features and systems end-to-end, from design through production deployment
• Improve system reliability, performance, scalability, and observability
• Drive technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
• Troubleshoot production issues and lead root-cause analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions
• Review code, mentor junior engineers, and help raise the engineering bar

What We're Looking For

• 3–6 years of software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend language such as Java, Kotlin, Go, Python, or Node.js
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, system design, and distributed systems
• Experience building and scaling production-grade backend services
• Strong knowledge of databases, caching, messaging systems, and RESTful APIs
• Ability to independently drive projects and make sound technical decisions
• Strong ownership mindset and bias for action

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or cloud-native infrastructure
• Experience with event-driven systems, queues, caching, and performance optimization
• Prior experience in high-growth consumer internet or marketplace companies
