Overview

Ecolab is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join its Record to Report technology support team. This position will enhance, maintain and support business application platforms.

The Software Engineer will apply engineering and programming best practices to deliver and enhance software solutions that meet business needs.

Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents those solutions. Works directly with peers in digital technology organization as well as with business associates on projects and support. Self-motivated professional, able to function independently and within a team structure

Job Position

Senior Software Engineer - Hyperion

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka

Experience: 5 - 7 Years

Employment Type: Full-Time

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Computer Science, Engineering or MIS)
• 5 years of hands-on experience supporting Oracle Hyperion EPM environments
• Exposure to automation tooling and processes within financial systems environments
• Ability to operate independently and troubleshoot issues without heavy oversight Experience working in an on-premise Oracle environment (not exclusively cloud-based), specifically:
• Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Hyperion EPM / Planning / Essbase /FDM/ DRM Demonstrated ability to support end-to-end system ownership (not just L1/ticket-based support) with strong technical problem solving skills.
  
  

Technical Skills & Expertise

• System patching, upgrades, and environment management Performance monitoring and system optimization Integrations and data flows across financial systems Strong understanding of infrastructure-level support vs. functional/business support
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with advanced data visualization tools, specifically Power BI and OCI/Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate)
• Experience with SQL objects such as tables and views, and security
• Experience with Python, PowerShell, Batch scripts.
• Demonstrated technical problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to evolving tools, technologies, and business requirements
