Senior Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using Python.
• Build scalable and reliable cloud-based applications using AWS.
• Develop and maintain APIs, data pipelines, and automated workflows.
• Contribute to system design and technical architecture decisions.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and engineering automation.
• Monitor applications, troubleshoot issues, and provide production support.
• Follow secure coding practices and participate in code reviews.
• Mentor team members and improve software development practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience in Python development.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Knowledge of system design, software architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience building and integrating APIs and data pipelines.
• Understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native applications, or event-driven architecture.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Knowledge of application monitoring, logging, alerting, and production support.
• Understanding of secure software development practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in banking or financial services.
• Exposure to lending, trade finance, commodities, or working capital solutions.
• Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools.
• Experience with DevSecOps and engineering automation.
