Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Java Developer with Kafka expertise to design, develop, and support scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Java-based microservices development, event-driven architectures, and real-time messaging using Apache Kafka. Experience with Apache Spark and large-scale data processing will be an added advantage.

The candidate will work closely with architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to build robust and resilient applications for a leading financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade applications using Java technologies.
• Develop and maintain microservices-based applications following industry best practices.
• Design and implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
• Build Kafka producers, consumers, streams, and event-processing applications.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of applications.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
• Participate in application architecture, design reviews, and code reviews.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD implementation and deployment automation.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and coding standards.
• Work in Agile teams and actively contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.

• Experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Exposure to monitoring tools such as Splunk, ELK, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
