Develop and Deliver embedded software features towards successful delivery of projects Architect Software Modules for Embedded Electronic Controls following Requirements Architect Software Modules for Embedded Electronic Controls following Requirements Understand software architecture and usage Apply architecture reuse plan and Integration Decompose System Level Requirements into Sub-system and Components Requirements Decompose System Level Requirements into Sub-system and Components Requirements Handle communication and close interaction with external process partners - 3rd party vendors as needed Document implemented software Contribute to increased team capabilities through ideas, proofs-of-concept, Continuous Improvement projects, etc. Competencies:
Competencies:(Technical Skill sets)
Profi ciency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems Knowledge of microprocessor/microcontroller architecture, hardware basics Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, I2C, SPI, UART, etc.
Understanding of the structure and acquire expertise in one software area (e.g., RTOS, HMI, PC-based tools, Arduino / Raspberry Pi, etc.)
Experience in UML/SysML modeling languages Strong verifi cation, testing, and debugging concepts
Hands-on experience with development and debugging tools
Preferred: Experience in Requirements Management / software requirements creation Preferred: product development experience in high-tech / automotive / consumer / industrial domain Preferred: software quality assurance experience Preferred: Experience with methodologies such as lean PD, Agile, OPEX, Design for Safety/Reliability, CMMI
Education Requirements Experience B.E. / B. Tech. in Electronics / ETC (3-6 Yrs), M.E. / M. Tech. in Electronics / ETC (0-3 Yrs)
