Job Description
- Technical Leadership
- Own technical architecture and design decisions across the product suite, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and alignment with platform modernization goals
- Lead the technical strategy for AI-driven capability adoption, evaluating and integrating AI/GenAI tools and practices into engineering workflows
- Set engineering standards and best practices for Java Full Stack development (Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular/React)
- Drive architectural decisions related to cloud infrastructure and platform migration efforts
- Contribute directly to complex application development, particularly on high-impact or high-risk components
- Lead design and implementation of critical system enhancements and modernization initiatives
- Perform in-depth code reviews and set the technical bar for the team''s output
- Mentor and coach senior and mid-level engineers, raising the overall technical capability of the team
- Act as a technical escalation point for complex engineering problems
- Influence engineering culture and practices beyond a single team, partnering with architecture and other engineering leads
- Partner with engineering, architecture, delivery, and product leadership to shape technical roadmaps
- Represent engineering in cross-functional planning for major initiatives (e.g., platform modernization, AI adoption)
- Communicate technical trade-offs and risks clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Identify technical risks and opportunities proactively, rather than executing only against defined tickets
- Drive continuity and stability across critical systems during periods of transition or modernization
- Contribute to long-term technical vision and roadmap planning for the engineering organization
- You will report to an Engineering Manager
- You are required to WFO 2 days a week as its a Hybrid work mode
Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 47 years of experience in Java Full Stack development
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
- Frontend development experience with Angular or React
- Working knowledge of cloud technologie
- Exposure to AI/GenAI technologies and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms
