Designation: Senior MERN Stack Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Build clean, reusable, maintainable, and high-performance frontend and backend solutions.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party APIs.
• Must be confident in attending client interviews/discussions and presenting technical solutions effectively to help secure and bring new projects for the company.
• Work closely with clients to understand requirements, provide technical solutions, and communicate project updates.
• Handle client communication independently and confidently.
• Participate in requirement discussions, technical meetings, and client calls.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, developers, QA, and project managers.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain coding standards.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement of development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in MERN Stack development.
• Strong proficiency in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience in developing and integrating REST APIs and third-party APIs.
• Good understanding of SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Git, Jira, Postman, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized development.
• Understanding of software architecture patterns such as MVC and Microservices.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and web security.
• Experience with performance optimization and scalable application development.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest or similar tools.
• Experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude, or Codex.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in an IT services / client-facing environment.
• Experience handling projects independently from requirement gathering to deployment.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
