Senior Software Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica.
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, CTEs, and analytical queries.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and data warehouse solutions on Snowflake.
• Work with Snowflake features such as Stages, File Formats, COPY INTO, Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, Cloning, and Snowpipe.
• Develop integrations between AWS S3 and Snowflake for data ingestion and processing.
• Work with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, IAM, Glue, CloudWatch, and EC2 as applicable.
• Design fact and dimension tables, Star/Snowflake schemas, and implement SCD Type 1/2.
• Optimize SQL and Snowflake workloads for performance and cost.
• Monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot production failures, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Implement data quality checks, error handling, logging, and reconciliation.
• Participate in code reviews, deployments, and CI/CD processes.
• Work with business analysts and other engineering teams to understand data requirements.
• Support production releases and resolve critical data issues.
