Senior Software Engineer

External Description

Description - ExternalDevelop scalable solutions for Amazon Connect digital channels (chat, SMS, email, WhatsApp).
Implementation of GenAI-driven features using Amazon Bedrock, Lex, and SageMaker to enhance customer and agent experiences.
Build and maintain backend services and orchestration workflows using Python, AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and API Gateway.
Collaborate with product managers, solution architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features.
Develop reusable frameworks and automation tools to accelerate digital migration from Genesys and LivePerson.
Qualifications - External- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend development using Python.
Proven experience with AWS services, especially Amazon Connect, Lambda, Step Functions, Bedrock, Lex, and S3.
Hands-on experience in building GenAI or ML-powered applications using AWS or open-source frameworks.
Strong understanding of digital customer engagement platforms and omni-channel architecture.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and monitoring tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
