Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary What you will do

• We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with 8 to 12 years of experience to join an agile product/solution development team. In this role, you will design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services that deliver strong business value from IT investments.
• You will work closely with solution architects and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with architectural principles, coding standards, and best practices. A key part of your role will be making sound technical decisions in Java-based solutions, with a strong focus on reliability, performance, security, and business alignment.
• You will participate across the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Essential requirements

• 8 to 12 years of experience in software engineering with strong hands-on Java development (Java 17 or above)
• Strong experience building microservices with Spring
• Strong experience with REST API design, implementation, testing, and documentation
• Experience with relational databases and database versioning or migrations (Liquibase or similar)

Nice to have

• DevSecOps and CI/CD experience with tools such as Git, GitHub Actions, Maven, Docker, JBoss/WildFly, Kubernetes or OpenShift
• Observability experience including monitoring and logging
• Experience building secure enterprise applications (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, Microsoft Entra ID)
• Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban and tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira
