SSIS Integration / Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Develop and modify IBPL queries, procedures, SSIS packages, and ETL workflows to support data

science and planning solutions.

Integrate forecasting models, machine learning components, plugin scripts, and database

procedures with the product platform.

Understand and apply the platform data model, including table structures, relationships, and

optimal designs for planning use cases.

Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and functional consultants to gather requirements and

design scalable integration solutions.

Support the delivery of accurate demand forecasting and supply chain planning products.

Develop and execute test plans, implement sanity checks, document defects, and track issue

resolution.

Optimize queries, data pipelines, storage, and retrieval processes for performance and scalability.

Monitor data systems, troubleshoot integration issues, and ensure data accuracy, reliability, security,

and privacy compliance.

Support deployment, production monitoring, and successful project delivery.

Required Skills and Experience

2+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL Development, or Data Integration.

Strong hands-on experience with SSIS, SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, and ETL development.

Knowledge of SSIS package design, deployment, scheduling, logging, error handling, and

performance tuning.

Strong understanding of DBMS, database design, data governance, and dimensional modeling,

including Star and Snowflake schemas.

Experience integrating data from databases, files, APIs, XML, JSON, and enterprise applications.

Proficiency in Python and/or R for data processing, automation, and analytics.

Knowledge of Apache Spark concepts and performance tuning.

Experience with data warehousing, data mining, large-volume data processing, and query

optimization.

Understanding of supply chain planning, demand forecasting, and business applications.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management

skills.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

Experience with o9 Solutions or similar supply chain planning platforms.

Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure SSIS Integration Runtime, or other cloud integration

technologies.

Experience with Power BI or Tableau.

Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and model integration.

Knowledge of Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and SQL Server Agent.

Understanding of data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
