The Role:
As a Software Engineer in the Platform team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving core architecture for applications developed in the company. Feature teams implement new ideas and improve existing ones based on the vision of the Product Team and feedback from our customers. Web Platform has high visibility and importance within the company as it’s job is to provide common foundations for those teams to build on, merge and deployment strategy, monitoring, and give technological guidance to developers throughout the company.
Responsibilities
Design, build and operate backend services for authentication, authorisation and account management.
Model multi-tenant account structures — organisations, teams, membership and roles — and keep the model correct as the product grows.
Design and evolve public and internal APIs, including versioning and backward compatibility.
Integrate enterprise identity: single sign-on over SAML and OIDC, and provisioning over SCIM.
Build event-driven integrations over Kafka, including schema design and compatibility.
Keep services available and fast on the request path, across several regions.
Own what you build in production: metrics, tracing, alerting, and on-call for your own services.
