About this role
Position Summary We are looking for a talented
DevOps Engineer (7–10 years of experience) with strong expertise in
Linux platforms (Red Hat Enterprise Linux / Oracle Linux/ UNIX) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in
Linux-based infrastructure, installer development, system integration, and DevOps automation . This role requires deep knowledge of
Linux system administration, shell scripting, and CI/CD pipeline development , with a strong emphasis on
building, testing, and deploying applications in Linux environments . The engineer will use GitHub Copilot—including MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations—to streamline specification‑driven development, generate high‑quality tests and documentation, and improve delivery speed and consistency. Experience in the healthcare domain is an added advantage.

- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Azure DevOps with a Linux-first approach.
- Develop and maintain Linux-based installers and automate deployment workflows across environments using InstallShield.
- Perform Linux platform configuration, tuning, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Write and maintain robust Shell (Bash) scripts and automation frameworks for deployment and operations.
- Configure and manage build tools such as ANT and Maven.
- Work on Groovy (Jenkins pipelines) and YAML (Azure DevOps pipelines) for pipeline orchestration.
- Ensure application compatibility and stability across Red Hat / Oracle Linux environments.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless build, release, and deployment cycles
- Implement best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC), version control, monitoring, and logging in Linux ecosystems
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, configuration management, and operational tasks.
- Monitor and optimize pipeline performance for speed, reliability, and scalability.
- Maintain documentation for CI/CD processes, scripts, and best practices.
- Ensure security and compliance in all DevOps processes and pipelines.
- Leverage GitHub Copilot to accelerate development by generating code scaffolds, unit tests, documentation, and pipeline snippets, while validating AI‑assisted outputs for accuracy, security, and compliance before integration.
- Designs and maintains cloud infrastructure for AI‑enabled platforms on Azure, with a strong focus on building and refining AI agents using Azure AI Foundry.
- Partners with engineering teams to improve instruction quality, automate PR code reviews, and embed AI‑first practices across delivery pipelines.
Skillset Requirements
- 7-10 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or similar engineering role.
- Strong experience with Linux (RHEL / Oracle Linux / Unix systems), Jenkins jobs and pipeline configuration.
- Hands-on experience with ANT and Maven (mandatory).
- Expertise in Linux installer development, packaging, and testing.
- Proficiency in Shell scripting (Bash).
- Knowledge of InstallShield or other installer software for application packaging.
- Programming/development experience (preferred) in languages such as Java, .NET, or similar.
- Expertise in Azure DevOps and YAML-based CI/CD pipeline creation and management is mandatory.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation and operational tasks is mandatory.
- Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with Bicep Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool.
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot MCP or ability to quickly learn grounded‑context workflows.
- Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or LLM‑based agent frameworks.
- Prompt engineering and instruction file optimization.
- AI‑assisted PR/code review tools and practices.
