Role Title: Senior Software Engineer II Position Summary: We are looking for a hands-on

Ops Engineer to ensure the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of Java Spring Boot microservices and data pipelines deployed across multiple regions on AWS. You will own the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance lifecycle, lead

L2/L3 production support , and drive incident response, RCA, and post-implementation improvements. The ideal candidate brings a strong

DevOps mindset , is comfortable with

high-throughput, low-latency systems (Kafka/Redis), and collaborates closely with developers, data engineers, SRE/CloudOps, QA, and Security to continuously improve system resiliency, release efficiency, and observability.

Job Responsibilities: Skill and Experience:

• 4+years of hands-on Ops/DevOps experience supporting

Java/Spring Boot microservices and

data platforms in production.

• Strong experience in creating and managing

DevOps pipelines as per platform requirements; deep knowledge of

microservices and distributed systems.

• Hands-on expertise with

Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS (EC2/EKS, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch).

• Experience supporting

Spark, Flink, Kafka, Redis, S3, and Parquet in production; job monitoring and performance troubleshooting.

• Deep understanding of

CI/CD concepts; proficiency with

Jenkins/GitLab CI and

IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation).

• Expertise in monitoring and

observability tools such as

CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack ; strong log analysis and tracing skills.

• Strong experience with

Git , including complex repository and

submodule management; familiarity with monorepo/polyrepo strategies.

• Proficiency in

Python, Bash, or Groovy for automation and operational scripting.

• Understanding of

security in operations (IAM, secrets management, encryption/TLS, OAuth2); compliance-aware deployments.

• Proactive, accountable, reliable, and consistently available during working hours.

Leadership & Delivery Skills:

• Ability to lead

operational decision-making and influence reliability improvements without formal authority.

• Strong

problem-solving and systems thinking; calm under pressure during incidents.

• Proven experience delivering

medium-to-large operational initiatives (migrations, resilience programs, performance tuning).

• Ability to

mentor and guide engineers on tooling, automation, and observability.

• Excellent communication—translates technical operational complexity into

simple, actionable language for stakeholders.

• High

ownership , accountability, and a proactive mindset.

• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

Education and Certifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certification.

Preferred: AWS Certified SysOps/Admin, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Dynatrace Associate, or similar Work location: Hyderabad, India.
