About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Golang and multi-tenant backend platforms . The ideal candidate will have expertise in microservices, REST APIs, gRPC, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and self-hosted Keycloak for authentication and authorization.
The candidate should be capable of designing secure, scalable, cloud-based backend systems, taking ownership of technical decisions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Python experience in AI/ML model training and deployment is optional.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs using Golang.
- Design and implement microservices-based, multi-tenant and multi-user platforms.
- Develop REST APIs over HTTPS and gRPC services for reliable communication.
- Implement authentication and authorization using self-hosted Keycloak, including realms, roles, clients, OAuth2 and OIDC.
- Deploy, maintain and secure Keycloak environments, ensuring high availability.
- Implement tenant isolation, data access controls and configuration management.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, indexing and database migrations.
- Deploy and manage backend services using cloud-based Kubernetes.
- Configure API management, including routing, security, rate limiting and policy enforcement.
- Improve backend performance, security, scalability and reliability.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decisions.
- Collaborate with Product, DevOps and QA teams to ensure timely project delivery.

Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Golang .
- PostgreSQL and database optimization.
- Keycloak (self-hosted) , OAuth2, OIDC and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- REST APIs over HTTPS and gRPC.
- Multi-tenant and multi-user system design.
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong system design and software architecture fundamentals.
- Good communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
Good to Have
- CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
- Cloud-based deployment and infrastructure.
- Observability tools for logging, metrics and tracing.
- Exposure to GenAI/LLM integration.
- Python development experience, including:
- Python fundamentals, OOP, modules and exception handling.
- REST API integration and PostgreSQL connectivity.
- Unit testing with pytest and API development using FastAPI.
- Data processing with pandas and NumPy.
- Basic AI/ML model training and evaluation using scikit-learn.
- Deploying AI/ML models as APIs using FastAPI and Docker.
Note: Python and AI/ML experience are optional and should not replace the mandatory Golang, Keycloak and multi-tenant platform requirements.
